Fall

This year we had a warm fall with lots of sunshine compared to last year. Biju and I enjoyed taking long walks in the park close by our apartment and Nidhi loved to cycle along with us. It also makes for a good nature walk with lots of trees and benches along the St.Joe river.

      
                  
                               

Nidhi likes to stop at each and every tree "station" and her dad reads out facts about the local tree. Playing soccer and frisbee is also an added bonus on these walks. This time we wanted to capture the fall colors with Nidhi and we sure got lots of them.

We collected lots of colorful leaves and twigs on our way back home. Keeping in theme with the season, I kept Nidhi occupied with apple stamping activity. I chose an apple that Nidhi got from her apple picking field trip and gave her a demonstration and she loved doing it for the rest of the week.

The following day Nidhi and a few friends along with the moms headed to Shoaff Park for a fall lunch picnic. We spent about 2 hours in the park and she had a blast with her friends.
