I was looking forward to this day more than Nidhi. It was my "free" weekend. Nidhi decided to make her favorite breakfast for her dad - Pancakes with strawberry syrup. She had also made a card for Biju over a week ago and put it promptly in his dresser drawer for him to see later...ofcourse she couldn't wait until Father's Day to give him the card!! For the card, I printed a coloring sheet from Crayola.com and had Nidhi color and cut it up. I printed another sheet that had pictures of breakfast (Orange juice, eggs, toast and oatmeal). She colored ,cut it up and glued it to a blue sheet of paper and we folded it to make it look like a card. I traced a fish (her dad's fav food) on paper and cut it up with a scalloped edge scissor and she colored/decorated the fish and was very happy to make it look "angry".Later in the evening, we went to a local park and she had some good time with her dad. Here are some pics of the day.
Rekha. Where is this park? And she did a nice work on her dad's card. If she colored and cut the same herself, its a good job.
ReplyDeleteAgain, where is this park Rekha.
This is Kreager Park - New Haven. It is right behind Nidhi's school as well. This park is the first "Boundless Playground" in Indiana and has imitation turf and other things that are safe for children with disabilities as well.
