Day at the Zoo

I took Nidhi to the children's zoo yesterday as the weather was good. It had been raining for the past two days and I had to postpone the trip much to her disappointment. We reached the zoo by 10.30am and it seemed like the entire city was at the Zoo!! My main worry was parking and luckily I found a good spot. The only thing Nidhi wanted to do as soon as we stepped in after buying the tickets was to eat Popcorn! She could smell the popcorn as we got into the African Safari zone. It ended up being her breakfast/brunch. Nidhi got to make a bracelet here and was totally excited about it. Our next stop was feeding the Giraffes. She wanted me to buy a lettuce leaf for $1 but refused to feed the Giraffe looking at its loooooong tongue! She screamed and hid behind me and finally I ended up feeding the Giraffe. We took the usual train ride, Australian Outback boat ride and even the pony ride. Today the pony seemed to have "allergies" and was constantly sneezing and that was enough to scare Nidhi :-)) but she somehow completed two rounds. We came home by 3.30pm and as soon as we entered the house, Nidhi said "I don't want to go to the zoo anymore" :-).
