Nidhi saw Neena on SPROUT demonstrating this simple craft with just glue,tissue paper and a glass jar. Since I had plenty of pickle jars in the house (not to mention the N many tissue papers I get in gift bags) I decided to have the craft ready for Nidhi to complete. I used the breakfast tray that I bought on Amazon.com (originally meant to be used as a floor table for writing). I arranged all the supplies and asked Nidhi to choose colored tissue paper squares to glue on the jar with a brush. She did a good job brushing on the glue with the brush on the jar and sticking the tissue in random order. We now use it as a pencil holder on her table. This was also very similar to a tealight candle holder that Nidhi made in her toddler class 2 years ago.
