Cricket Match

Biju and his team had organized a cricket tournament for the second time this year. Nidhi and I wanted to go see them play if they qualified in the quarter final stage. It was a really hot and humid day with temps reaching 90F.As soon as we got to know that the men had made it to the quarter finals we got ready to go watch them play. I drove Nidhi and a friend of mine and reached the ground by 4.30pm. It was bright,sunny and scorching. We spent sometime under the shade of a tree and Nidhi had a blast playing in the sand with her friends. She was totally burnt and exhausted but still had the energy to cheer for her dad in between. The guys were the runners up and by the time we got home after everything it was 10pm! Nidhi had Pizza for dinner and collapsed with her dad on the sofa  :-)!
